Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has also decided to cancel the 12th board examinations due to the global epidemic Corona virus. The disaster management met CM Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday to give the green signal to the proposal. Apart from central board CBSE, so far several states including UP, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Gujarat have cancelled the 12th board examinations.

State that many states in the country have so far been under lockdown-like restrictions due to the corona epidemic. In view of the increasing number of corona virus cases, the Maharashtra government had already cancelled the 10th examination. The School Education Minister had also said that the results of class 10 students would be prepared on the basis of internal assessment. Soon the government will prepare for the assessment of 12th standard students.

The second wave of corona has proved extremely deadly for the country. So far more than 1 lakh cases of corona are being registered every day in the country. 1.34 lakh corona cases were registered in the country in the last 24 hours. Many states have imposed strict restrictions to prevent infections. Corona's speed has decreased slightly compared to before, but the risk has not diminished so far.
