Mumbai: Maharashtra's Uddhav Thackeray government had announced permission to open cinema halls and multiplexes in the state on October 22 long ago. However, the SOP (SOP) was not issued for the same. This has upset the business community in the world of cinema for the past several days. But now the Maharashtra Government has finally issued the SOP. Let me tell you all that SOP means standard operating procedure, that is, standard operating process by the government. On the other hand, the demand made under it for opening of theatres and multiplexes in Maharashtra is that social distensing should be taken care of inside the theatre, it should be mandatory to wear face masks and sanitizer should also be used inside the theatre.

In addition, several more instructions have also been given. In fact, if you want to go to the cinema hall and watch a film and you have got a vaccine, you have to show your vaccination certificate before entering the theatre. Those who have not been vaccinated so far can also go to cinema halls but have to show themselves in a safe position on their Arogya Setu app. The cinema hall staff will also check the temperature before the audience enters the theatre.

At the same time, the SOP also asks viewers to prefer online payments. In fact, all theatres have been instructed to sanitize and disinfect the entire auditorium after each show. At the same time, only those employees who have been vaccinated will be able to work in theatres. On the other hand, the SOP has directed that popcorn, cold drinks or any food items will not be allowed in the theatre.
