Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray last Thursday asked all district administrations in Maharashtra to immediately set up their oxygen projects. Last Thursday, CM said, "The government has to be prepared and very careful about the "third wave" of corona. Ensure stock of all essential medicines. According to reports, according to the Chief Minister's Office, while talking to the Divisional Commissioner, Collector, Municipal Commissioner about the situation in corona, the Chief Minister has given these directions to the district administration".

"Not only the announcement, but also its implementation on the ground should be visible," he said. Not only that, CM Uddhav Thackeray also said, "Though the number of corona patients has stabilized to some extent due to strict restrictions in the state, now we have to be very careful and plan for the next third wave".

Let us also tell all of you that 66,159 new cases have been reported in Maharashtra last Thursday. There have been 771 deaths. As a whole, the total active cases in the State have gone up to 6,70,301. With this, 68537 patients recovered and went home on Thursday. Talking about the capital Mumbai, 4192 new corona cases were reported here last Thursday and 83 people died. There are a total of 64018 active cases in Mumbai at present. Last Thursday itself, the Bombay High Court refused to hear a PIL seeking directions to sell the Covid-19 vaccines to serum institute of India and Bharat Biotech at the same rate of Rs 150 per vaccine. In the case, the court said that the petition should be filed in the Supreme Court which has taken suo motu cognizance in the cases relating to Covid-19.
