Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has made a statement today. In this statement, he said, "Most of his government's two-year tenure was spent in the management of Covid-19 and the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) managed to turn this disaster into an opportunity. In fact, on the occasion of completing two years as Chief Minister, he thanked the people for supporting him in all the efforts of his Government and he also said that it is a "people's government".

He further said, "During man-made and natural calamities, we did not panic and our focus was on the welfare of the common man. Most of the last two years went into covid-19 management. We succeeded in turning the crisis into an opportunity. "

In the meantime, he also claimed that there is a huge difference between the health, medical facilities and infrastructure of two years ago and now. The Maharashtra Assembly had broken the alliance with its long-standing ally Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the issue of sharing the chief minister's post after the 2019 elections. After all this, it formed an alliance with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and the Congress to form the MVA government. CM Thackeray today said that there was no negativity in his government and administration while dealing with the global epidemic.

He said, "We have worked hard to improve industrial investment, agricultural infrastructure, housing, employment, water supply, solar energy, environment, forest and tourism and the efforts of the Government have taken note of how the welfare of the common man will be ensured. He further said, "Under the Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Agricultural Loan Waiver Scheme, farmers' loans worth Rs. 20,000 crore have been waived off. The state government provided Rs 2,600 crore to hospitals and 14.4 lakh people were given free treatment under Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Jan Arogya Yojana. '
