Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has told the people on Friday that "they should get their covid-19 checked soon if needed". Apart from this, he also said that the authorities should ensure medical oxygen supply and drug management. Indeed, the Chief Minister held a meeting to review the status of the epidemic in Mumbai. During this time BMC Commissioner IS Chahal also attended. Meanwhile, he said, "The number of patients undergoing covid-19 in the state is expected to double in 15 days".

Let us also tell you that on Wednesday, he wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this letter, he had said, 'There are 5.64 lakh under-treated patients in the state, whose number is expected to be 11.9 lakh by 30th April'. Simultaneously, the letter also said that "By the end of April, the requirement of medical use of oxygen in the state can reach up to two thousand metric tonnes, while the present-day demand is 1,200 metric tonnes".

Let us also tell all of you that 63,729 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Maharashtra on Friday, and these cases are being said to be the highest ever in a day. With this, the total number of infected in the state has crossed 37 lakhs, while 398 more people have died due to infection.
