Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray announces to lockdown four cities including Mumbai and Pune

Mumbai: In view of the increasing cases of Coronavirus in India, the Uddhav Thackeray government has made a big announcement. The government has announced the complete closure of Mumbai-Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Nagpur in Maharashtra. The shop and office have all been ordered closed. Giving information, the state health minister Rajesh Tope has told that three more people have been found infected with the coronavirus in Maharashtra and with this the number of infected people in the state has reached 52.

Tope has told in a press conference that these three cases have come up in Mumbai, Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad. As of Thursday night, 49 people in the state were infected with Kovid-19. It also includes a 64-year-old man who died this week. He informed that the state government will bear the cost of treatment of Kovid-19 patients under Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana.

Let us tell you that PM Modi appealed to the people expressing concern about the rising cases of Coronavirus. On March 22, he had requested for a revocation of Janata curfew from 7 am to 9 pm and said that if it is necessary, then get out of the house. He advised the elderly over 65 years and children below 10 years to stay in the house. PM Narendra Modi had said that every Indian should be aware, be alert, do not leave your house for the next few weeks when it is not very necessary.
