Mumbai: There is a hesitation in the Corona vaccine in Muslim dominated areas of Maharashtra. The Uddhav Thackeray government in the state has decided to seek the help of Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Rajesh Tope said Maharashtra is at the forefront of the number of vaccinations, but vaccination is slow in some areas. People in Muslim-majority areas are still hesitant about the corona vaccine. So it has been decided to seek the help of Salman Khan and religious leaders to allay the fears of the Muslim community and persuade them to take the dose of the vaccine. Tope said religious leaders and film actors have a great influence on people and people listen to them.

He said more than 10.25 crore corona vaccine supplements have been administered in Maharashtra so far. The target is to give at least the first dose to all eligible persons by the end of November. Regarding the possibility of the third wave of coronavirus infection, Tope said that according to experts, the epidemic cycle is 7 months, but the corona wave will not be serious due to large scale vaccination. Maharashtra has been the worst affected state with corona for a long time. Maharashtra has the highest number of corona cases and deaths.
