New Delhi: Corona has created a huge hue and cry not only in the country but all over the world, and the new cases of corona in the country have once again seen a surge. Most of the infected patients in new cases have come from Maharashtra. According to data released by the health department, 25,833 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. This figure is the highest ever in the cases coming daily. Yesterday, the figure was 23,179. With this, Mumbai has also reported the highest ever 2788 new cases in a day. If this continues, there is a possibility of lockdown in the entire Maharashtra. CM Uddhav Thackeray has already warned about it this condition to public.

With this, the total number of corona cases in Maharashtra has gone up to 23, 96340. A total of 53,138 patients have died in Maharashtra so far. In the last 24 hours, 58 persons have died from the corona. Earlier on Thursday, 23,179 new cases were reported in the state and 84 persons died. The situation in Nagpur, Mumbai, and Pune is reported to be the worst.
Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope had said on Wednesday that vaccination is being accelerated, for which 2.20 crore doses of corona vaccine have been sought from the central government. Tope has written a letter to Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan saying that 20 lakh doses should be provided to the state every week. PM Narendra Modi also had a meeting with the Chief Minister of several states on Wednesday over the situation in the corona. Modi has demanded all states to strictly implement the corona guidelines and also expedite the vaccination campaign.
