Mumbai: The situation in Maharashtra has become uncontrollable due to coronavirus. In such a situation whether or not there will be a lockdown in the state, nothing can be said. In the past, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, in a meeting with the state's covidTask Force, discussed issues ranging from lockdown to other issues, while expressing concern about the beds being rapidly filled in hospitals in the state.
Indeed, during the meeting, the State Health Secretary informed that 'out of 20250 ICU beds, 75% of the beds have been filled, while out of 67000 oxygen beds, 40% of the beds have been filled. There are about 11 to 12 districts where there are no beds left. The situation is that isolation beds have been prepared in railway bogies in Nandurbar'. Apart from this, he also said, 'It was churned about the current situation that about 95 percent of the patients are those who can be treated properly at their home. In such a situation, the patient who is more serious will need to be brought to the hospital. Now there is a need to inform people about this. Separation rooms in society, need to increase oxygen facilities. Apart from this, doctors should conduct all beds from the war room'.
By the way, let us also tell you that if we look at the current situation here, then young patients are also needing ventilators, due to this now serious planning may have to be done here. At the same time, there is no lack of oxygen in the state, so it is being asked to use according to the need.
