Mumbai: Corona's havoc can be seen again in Maharashtra. Around 4,092 new patients with coronavirus infection have been confirmed on Sunday. It is being told that 40 infected people have also died. The Health Department has talked about this. The department says that the total infection cases in the state have gone up to 20,64,278 while the death toll has reached 51,529. Not only this, but the department has also stated in its statement that, ''1355 patients in the state have defeated the infection. The number of people who got infection-free has increased to 19,75,603. 35,965 patients are undergoing treatment for infection in the state.''

With this, the department says that there are 1,74,243 patients who are isolated in their homes. There are also 1747 other isolated habitat centers. The rate of infection-free in Maharashtra is 95.7 percent, while the death rate of coronavirus is reported to be 2.5 percent. According to the information received, 48,782 samples were tested in Maharashtra on Sunday, while 1,53,21,608 samples have been tested so far. Now meanwhile, there is news of confirmation of 645 new patients in Mumbai city on Sunday.

It is said that total cases of infection have reached 3,14,076 in the economic capital of the country while 11,419 infected people have died. Let us tell you that 1,141 new infections have been confirmed in the Mumbai division. There were 122 new cases in Nashik, 353 in Pune city, and 138 in Pimpri Chinchwad.
