Mumbai: Maharashtra is witnessing a decline in corona cases. The total number of corona cases has crossed 50 lakhs last Saturday, but the good thing is that the cases are gradually declining. On 9th March, 2020, two covid-19 cases were reported in the State, after which the corona outbreak continued in the State and now, on 9th May, 2021, the cases of corona have exceeded 50 lakhs. More than 75,000 people have died due to infection in the state.

On the other hand, health officials have informed about the same last Saturday. A total of 898 people died last Friday, while last Saturday saw a slight decline in the number and 864 deaths were recorded in the state. At the same time, the total number of people who lost their lives due to infection in the state has now gone up to 75,277, and is said to be the highest figure in the country. In fact, 53,605 new cases have been registered in the State last Saturday. Let me tell you that the state had the highest number of 68,631 cases on April 18, but there has been some decline in cases now.

The total number of corona cases in the state has increased to 50,53,336 after new cases last Saturday. At the same time, mumbai's situation has shown some improvement as compared to earlier. In fact, cases of new infections are being recorded below the 5,000 level. Last Saturday, 2,664 new cases were reported, after which the total number of cases in the city has gone up to 673,235 so far.
