Mumbai: A big news has come from Navi Mumbai in Maharashtra recently. In fact, the Custom Department has taken a large number of action here and recovered drugs worth Rs.300 crores. The Custom Department is said to have seized 290 kg of heroin worth Rs 300 crore. The stock of heroin in such a large quantity is said to have been recovered from Jawaharlal Nehruu port trust at Uran in Navi Mumbai. According to reports, the Customs department has now handed over the case to the anti-smuggling intelligence, investigation and operations agency.

DRI is now interrogating two persons in the case. According to reports, the 300 crore drugs recovered by the anti-smuggling intelligence, investigation and operations agency from Uran in Navi Mumbai are the largest reserves of heroin seized this year. In fact, 290 kg of heroin has been seized by the Customs department officials of JNPT port and now further investigation has been initiated in the case. You remember, last year, DRI seized 191 kg of heroin.

At that time, they were described as Ayurvedic medicines in the examination. During that time, a special task force of Punjab Police recovered 191 kg of heroin and other items from a house in Amritsar district and six persons were arrested in connection with the case.
