Mumbai: The corona epidemic has created havoc across the country, with the general public as well as politicians and film stars. In this order, it has now been reported that Ajit Pawar, deputy CM of Maharashtra and senior leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), has been found infected with the coronavirus. Preparations are on for the making of the vaccine on a war footing.

According to media reports, Ajit Pawar has now been found to have mild corona symptoms, so he has been asked to stay at home. Earlier, NCP general secretary had informed that Deputy CM Ajit Pawar would not be able to meet officials and functionaries in NCP's state office due to some unavoidable reasons. However, he did not explain the reason.

The total number of patients infected with corona in India has crossed 77 lakh. Out of these, 68 lakh 74 thousand people have also been recovered and the number of active cases has come down to 7 lakh 15,000.  So far, one lakh 16 thousand 616 people have been died due to corona.
