Mumbai: People in a village in Maharashtra were deeply disturbed by the power failure. It was because of this trouble that they attacked the electricity department office. The case is said to be from Washim district of Maharashtra. The incident is said to have taken place around 9 pm last Saturday.

According to police information so far, "If there is any rain in Toranala village, there is a power failure, the villagers have repeatedly complained to the department about getting rid of this problem, but the matter has not been resolved. In fact, it started raining around 8 pm last Saturday. As soon as it started raining here, the village lost power and people were disturbed. Seeing this, the patience of the villagers responded and then the agitated villagers reached the power sub-station directly. Junior engineers and 2 other employees were also present here at that time."

Meanwhile, angry villagers started ransacking the office and the power department engineer has complained to the police about the matter. Police have now arrested 4 persons in the case. Police have reportedly registered a case against him under Section 353 of obstructing government work and have started further investigation.
