Palghar: A shocking incident has been reported from Virar in the Palghar district of Maharashtra. In fact, here the daughters kept the body of the elderly father in their own house for three days for fear of corona testing, during which a daughter committed suicide. In the meantime, however, the second daughter who tried to kill her was rescued. In this case, police say that the daughters feared that they would be investigated after the death of the father and kept in quarantine if found infected. On the other hand, Senior Inspector Raju Mane of Arnala Sagari police station said that the mutilated body of retired ration officer Haridas Saharkar was found at his house in Gokul town of Virar on Wednesday.

The official also said that the case came to light when Saharkar's younger daughter Swapnali jumped into the sea in Nawapur during the day and was rescued by locals. At the same time, he said that investigations revealed that Saharkar had died at home last Sunday, after which the family kept his body at home fearing that he would not be hit by a corona and then had to stay in the warranty. The official further said that Vidya, the elder daughter of the deceased man, committed suicide by jumping into the sea in Nawapur and her body was recovered by the police on Tuesday.

How the case was revealed- Under the information received in the case, the younger daughter also tried to commit suicide in the same way but was rescued. The official said police were initially investigating the suicide attempt case and have now registered two cases of accidental death.
