Government investigating agencies working as 'contract killers' for BJP: Sanjay Raut

Mumbai: Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has once again slammed the BJP and the Central government over the alleged misuse of investigating agencies. He alleged last Sunday that "government killings" have now replaced "money-killing" to eliminate political rivals in Maharashtra. In fact, Sanjay Raut is furious that some ministers of the Shiv Sena-led Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) government are under the purview of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), income tax investigation and one of them is facing the central bureau of investigation (CBI).

"Central investigating agencies are carrying out killings by taking money for a party in power in Delhi (Centre)," he says. Yesterday, Sanjay Raut wrote in 'Rokdhak', a weekly column in Shiv Sena mouthpiece 'Saamna', "Is Maharashtra ruled by law or under raid? This question will come to anyone's mind in view of the record-breaking raids of central investigating agencies. Earlier, the rulers of Delhi (Centre) used to lie, but now a new business has become a new business without any capital investment without ordering continuous raids. ''

He further wrote, "Contract killing in Mumbai in the past was a daily affair. The hitman was paid for killing opponents. It has now been replaced. Government investigating agencies are working as 'contract killers' for the party in power at the Centre.'' At the same time, he has also questioned the PM Cares Fund. He wrote, "Eliminating unwanted political opponents is now a new policy of these agencies. The details of PM care fund are not being made public while crores of rupees were collected in the name of the prime minister.''
