Maharashtra govt to give Rs 50,000 ex-gratia to kin of Covid-19 victims

Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has made a major announcement. Let me inform you that the government has stated that an independent portal will be built where the deceased's next of kin will be required to apply. Their account will subsequently be credited with the compensation amount. The Supreme Court has authorised the Centre's idea to offer an ex-gratia of 50,000 rupees to persons who die of corona in India. This decision has been made as a result of that.
