Mumbai: Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has resigned from his post. His resignation has been accepted by the country's President Draupadi Murmu. Along with Koshyari, the resignation of Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Radha Krishnan Mathur has also been accepted. Apart from these, the President has made major changes in 13 states and union territories. President Draupadi Murmu has appointed Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais as the Governor of Maharashtra. Apart from this, Gulab Chand Kataria has been made the Governor of Assam, former Union Minister Shiv Pratap Shukla has been made the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.  

The President appointed Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brigadier (retd) BD Mishra as Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Lt Gen Kaivalya Trivikram Parnaik as Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey as Governor of Manipur and Manipur Governor L.K. Mishra as Governor of Manipur. Ganesan has been appointed as the Governor of Nagaland, Bihar Governor Phagu Chauhan as The Governor of Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar as the Governor of Bihar, Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais as the Governor of Maharashtra.
