Mumbai: After the Rajasthan government, the Maharashtra government has banned Baba Ramdev's drug Coronil. Maharashtra Government Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said that there is no firm information regarding the clinical trial of coronil, in this case there will be a ban on the sale of this drug in Maharashtra.

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has written on Thursday that, "National Institute of Medical Sciences, Jaipur will find out whether a clinical trial of Patanjali's' coronil' was done. We warn Baba Ramdev that our government will not allow the sale of fake medicines in Maharashtra. Rajasthan became the first state after the objection of the Ministry of AYUSH, which has banned the sale of Coronil, the medicine of Baba Ramdev. The Rajasthan government said in its order that without the approval of the Union Ministry of AYUSH, no Ayurvedic medicine can be sold as a corona epidemic medicine."

The Gehlot government of Rajasthan has said that strict action will be taken against the seller if any drug is found to be sold as a medicine to treat the corona epidemic. Earlier, the Union Ayush Ministry had raised questions on Ramdev's claims. The advertisement has been banned and drug testing has been said to be done. Patanjali has been asked for information regarding the drug.
