Let us tell you that till last evening at 4 pm, the vaccination of about four and a half lakh citizens was completed in the state in a day. It is being told that till 4 pm, the number of citizens who have taken both the doses in Maharashtra has gone up to 1 crore 64 thousand 308. By the way, new records of vaccination are being recorded in the name of Maharashtra. So far, the first dose of vaccine has been given to 3 crores 16 lakh 9 thousand 227 citizens in the state. Not only this, but under the vaccination started yesterday, the number of citizens who have taken both doses has crossed the 1 crore mark.
This was stated by Dr. Pradeep Vyas, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Health yesterday. Let us also tell you that about 4100 vaccination centers have been started in the State yesterday and 3 lakh 75 thousand 974 people have been vaccinated till 4 pm.
