Mumbai: A massive fire broke out at a warehouse in MIDC area in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra today. It is reported that immediately after receiving information about the fire, the fire brigade has arrived on the spot and controlled the fire. The fire is said to have been in the Sarwali MIDC area of Bhiwandi taluka. According to reports, the cause of the fire has not been ascertained so far. There are reports that 30 to 40 workers were present inside the Godown at the time the fire broke out, though the workers were safely evacuated only after the fire was reported.

According to reports, the Godown also had a large stock of raw clothes, finished clothes and yarn, but the fire burned all and the loss of crores of rupees is likely to be reported. At present, the workers are trying to control the fire. On January 25, 2021, a fire took off at the dumping ground of Manpa at Chawindra-Ramnagar in Bhiwandi, which damaged the machine worth lakhs of rupees planted in the garbage depot.

The fire was also started in the morning. As soon as the fire was reported, the fire brigade vehicles rushed to the spot for an hour late, making the machine completely buried. During the course of the garbage fire, the contaminated smoke quickly went into the adjoining settlements, and all the residents began to breathe issue. There was a massive fire in the Godown of Bhiwandi area of Maharashtra in April 2020. During that, it was said that the fire would be due to a short circuit.
