Maharashtra: Massive fire breaks out in plastic godown in Mumbai's Malad West

Mumbai: There are many shocking cases coming to light from Maharashtra these days. According to recent information, a fire broke out in a plastic godown at Masterji Compound in Malad West, capital Mumbai last Sunday night. Five fire brigades have reportedly reached the spot to control the fire here. The fire fighting operation is still going on. However, the good news is that no casualties have been reported so far. Under the recent information, a gas cylinder exploded at a house in Delhi's Mangolpuri area earlier on Saturday.

13 people were burnt in the accident. The same officials said of the case that "The police received a report of a blast in the cylinder at 6.44 pm. The fire caused by the blast has been brought under control.' On the other hand, fire department officials say that ''Three fire tenders were sent to the spot to douse the fire.'' Regarding the case, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outsider) Parwinder Singh says, "The blast took place in the house of a man named Ganesh when his wife Savitri was changing the cylinder and due to gas leakage".

Police also said, "Savitri, Sachin, Geeta, Prince, Lakshmi, Vinod, Vivek, Chhatarpal, Sanju, Sandhya, Nirmala, Mahima and Monishka were injured in the incident who were admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital." Further, he said, "Savitri, Sachin, Geeta and Prince were later referred to Safdarjung Hospital due to excessive burns". There is also another news which is from Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Nine shops were burnt to death in a fire last Saturday, while another fire broke out at the Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation Yard, burning a bus and dozens of tyres parked there.

In the case, officials said, "A fire broke out in a shop near Loran bus stand in Mandi area of Poonch around 4.45 am and spread to nearby shops. Fire men managed to douse the flames after several hours of hard work".
