Nagpur: Police protection is being provided to pig catchers in Nagpur district of Maharashtra. It may sound a bit strange to hear, but it's true. There are more than 10 thousand pigs in Nagpur which spread dirt. No Nagpur institution agreed to catch these pigs. A Tamil Nadu institution then took up the task of catching pigs, but they demanded police protection to do so.
Under this, the police is now working to catch the pig under security. The number of pigs in Nagpur city is increasing steadily. This pig is spreading dirt and diseases in the city. The issue arose several times in Nagpur Municipality. The solution turned out to be to catch the pigs. Manpa asked several alliances to catch the pig. Even the newspapers took tenders, but no organization in the city was willing to do it.
The organizations argued that pig rearing people had more bullying, so going to those areas is very risky. In view of the growing problem in the city, the administration has entrusted the work to an institution in Tamil Nadu. After getting the work done, the workers of the organisation have reached Nagpur. Even when they found out the reality, the institution said, "If the team is given police protection, only then they can do it." After which the pig catching work began on Monday 22nd July.
