Mumbai: NCP MLA Daulat Daroda is reported missing from Shahpur Assembly in Thane district in Maharashtra. Family members have registered a case of the missing of Daulat Daroda in the police station. In the complaint given to the police on Saturday, it has been said that he won the elections last month, the MLAs of the area have been missing since last night i.e. Friday night. Due to which his family is very upset.
The family requested the police to search the MLA at the earliest. This case has been filed on behalf of Pandurang Barora, a member of MLA's family. With this, NCP MLA from Nashik Kalvan area Nitin Pawar is also being reported missing. It is noteworthy that the top court will hear the petition of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress against the sudden swearing in of the BJP-led government in Maharashtra on Saturday morning at 11.30 am on Sunday.
Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress reached the top court on Saturday evening and appealed to direct the new government to prove majority within 24 hours. The party, which has switched from the BJP, has requested the Supreme Court to hear the petition tonight in this case, that the Maharashtra government should be directed to prove its majority within 24 hours to stop the horse trading. The petition has been approved and the time has been fixed for hearing at 11.30 am on Sunday.
