Indore: Maharashtra Police has arrested the accused of murder. The accused had brutally murdered his wife in Mumbra and fled with his daughter, whose mobile location was traced by the police and nabbed by the police from an express train parked at the Itarsi railway station. In fact, Shahnawaz Saifi, who lives in Mumbra's Jeevan Bagh Burhani building, killed his wife Sadaf Saifi and fled with his two-year-old daughter.

Senior inspector of police Madhukar Kad of Mumbra police station said that Sadaf and Shahnawaz had a love marriage and the two had been fighting for the past few days, there was a dispute on September 1 and then Shahnawaz Saifi first administered some drugs to his wife Sadaf Saifi and then killed her and fled. According to police sources, Shahnawaz also burnt Sadaf's body after she fainted and then put an LPG pipe in Sadaf's mouth and locked the door of the house from outside and fled with his two-year-old daughter.

Shahnawaz was on the run on an express train to Moradabad in his home region of Uttar Pradesh after the murder. Mumbra police sent Sadaf's body for postmortem when they came to know about the incident. Shahnawaz's mobile location trace found that he was at Itarsi railway station in Madhya Pradesh, then Mumbra police reported it to Itarsi RPF and Shahnawaz was arrested.
