Recently, state Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has warned people about the third wave and asked them to be careful. According to a report released by some websites, more than 8,000 children were found infected with corona virus in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, inside May. In fact, it was equal to 10 per cent of the total cases reported in the district and so many children were infected and created a stir.
District Collector Rajendra Bhosale said, "It is alarming and the administration is contacting the satchel doctors to be prepared for the third wave". According to the same sources, the government fearing that the third wave in the state may come at the end of July or early August, with only two months left for preparations and preparations are in full swing. Let us also tell you that a similar ward has been set up in Sangli city and three children are currently undergoing treatment there.
Talking about the preparations, Councillor Abhijit Bhosale from Sangli said, "We have created this covid ward for children so that if and when the third wave comes, we are ready. Apart from him, Ahmednagar MLA Sangram Jagtap said, "There was a shortage of beds and oxygen in the second wave. We have to avoid it in the third wave".
