Mumbai: Doctors in Maharashtra have announced an indefinite strike in the state from today. Yes, under the recent information, the doctors have decided to go on strike over their demands. Now, with them going on strike, patients may face difficulties today. Doctors are on strike over several demands including waiver of academic fees of doctors during the Corona period.

You must be aware that confirming the strike, Dr Akshay Yadav, a member of the Maharashtra State Association of Resident Doctors, said, "Our first demand is to waive off academic fees.'' At the same time, he said, "The hostel conditions should be improved because they are in a bad shape. Not only this, the demands of doctors include non-deduction of TDS of resident doctors of BMC hospital and demand for covid incentive suo-vis state government hospitals.'' Moreover, doctors also say that they will not come back from the strike unless our demands are met.

However, emergency services will continue during the strike. Services in OPD will remain suspended. There are also reports that doctors also have a meeting with top officials of the ministry this morning. Now, if their problems are not resolved by the Government soon, the general public may face difficulties.
