Palghar: Maharashtra is witnessing the havoc of day-to-day infections but meanwhile there are reports that there is a decline in infection cases. Now, in the meantime, something has happened here that everyone is stunned. In fact, this is the case in Palghar district. Police raided a house here and then arrested a 'tantric' and another person. A large number of people reportedly gathered in this house in anticipation of recovery.
Officials said today, Saturday, that a house in Saktor village of Vikramgarh tehsil was raided on Friday afternoon. Further, the police have informed that they collected a fine of Rs.12,500 from 25 people gathered there for not wearing masks. In this regard, a police official said, "Based on an intelligence inputs, the district rural police raided the house and found that some superstitious activities were going on there. Around 50 people including women were gathered at the spot"
According to the information received, several people fled during the raid but police have nabbed 'Tantric' and the landlord as well as a total of 27 people. 'Tantric' and the landlord have been arrested and taken for questioning. Tantric had reportedly called everyone to cure them from corona.
