Mumbai: On the one hand, the Maharashtra government does not even have money to pay the salaries of government employees. On the other hand, the government is buying cars for ministers and officers. The opposition says that the government is only concerned about the convenience of ministers and officers, the public is not concerned.

In this order issued by the Education Department of Maharashtra, it has been said that Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad and six vehicles for officials have been purchased. Actually, the order has asked to buy four vehicles for the ministers, one for the officer and one for the staff car, the most expensive car is that of Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad. The government has purchased an Innova Crysta 2.4 ZX (7 STR) vehicle for Varsha Gaikwad.

The price of this vehicle is about 22 lakh 83 thousand rupees. The opposition alleges that when the government does not have the money to pay the salaries of the employees, then what is the need to buy such expensive cars for the minister. BJP spokesperson Ram Kadam said that the government has cut the salary of Corona warriors who serve the people, even in an epidemic like Corona. Not only this, the government does not have the funds to give even the corona package to the people of Maharashtra. But for the ministers, the government has the money to take a car worth crores of rupees.
