Thane: Crime cases keep coming to light from Maharashtra day in and day out. Now, the case that has come to light is from the Thane district of Maharashtra. Here, a 35-year-old woman allegedly strangled her husband to death over a domestic dispute. According to the information received, an official of the Nizampur police station informed about the same. He said, "This incident took place last Sunday night. It took place in the Kalher area of Bhiwandi city where the woman killed her husband at the house. The woman was arrested in the early hours of Monday.''
The woman's husband was reportedly a labourer and was addicted to alcohol. The two reportedly used to quarrel over even the smallest of things. The two also had a fight last Sunday and the woman then allegedly strangled her husband to death with a rope. Briefing about the case, the officer said, "The neighbours informed the police about the incident in the middle of the night.''
Police rushed to the spot and seized the body and sent it for postmortem. The woman has now been arrested in the case and a case has been filed against her under relevant sections. Well, this is not the first case, but many such cases have come to light before.
