A Shiv Sena supporter, saddened by Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray not becoming Chief Minister in India's state of Maharashtra, allegedly tried to commit suicide in Washim district. Police gave this information on Sunday. Which has clearly stated the impact of political upheaval.

The incident took place at Manora Chowk on Saturday evening when Ramesh Balu Jadhav, a resident of Umari village in Washim, located around 580 km from Mumbai, came there for some work.. A drunken Jadhav cut his hand off the blade after receiving news of BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis swearing in as chief minister, an official of the Digaras police station said.

On this matter, he told that when a traffic policeman saw Jadhav injuring his hand, he ran and stopped him from committing suicide. Jadhav was rushed to a government hospital where he is undergoing treatment. According to the police, he must have taken this step when drunk. He told that the investigation of the incident is going on.
