The woman now lodged a police complaint and said that the accused raped her all night on December 17 at a lodge in Trimbakeshwar. Meanwhile, when the victim somehow wanted to free herself, the accused placed a knife on her little girl's neck and threatened to kill her. After all this, he raped the woman concerned several times in different places, threatening her in the same way. Police informed that Azad Sheikh raped the woman concerned overnight at a lodge on December 17. He then took the woman to his friend's house. Here too he raped the woman several times.
He then released the woman and tried to escape from Nashik. When he reached the railway station and was waiting for the train to go. At the same time, the police approached him and nabbed him. Based on the complaint of the woman in the case, the accused has been booked as per Section 376. Now, Sub Inspector of Police Shyam Jadhav has initiated further action.
