Maharshi Box office collections: There's no stopping this Mahesh Babu film

Mahesh Babu’s recent release Maharshi is writing new records for the Telugu superstar. The film opened with a collection of Rs 24.60 crore in the AP/TS region and has performed well on its second day as well, as per trade analyst Ramesh Bala. Maharshi has performed well in the last two days. According to Trade analyst, Sumit Kadel, Maharshi grossed Rs 33 crore on Day 1. This was Mahesh Babu's highest domestic opening so far. Another analyst, Ramesh Bala has termed the film's performance on Day 2 as "Sensational". He predicted that the film is "all set for a rocking weekend". 

On its opening day, the film collected about Rs 6.8 crore in the Nizam territory. It also did well in the overseas market as the Indian diaspora filled the theatres. The film also holds the record of raking in Rs 25 lakhs in Chennai alone, which is unprecedented for Mahesh Babu film in the Tamil Nadu capital.

Now, on its second day, the film maintained the momentum and it is turning out to be a blockbuster hit. In the Nizam area, the film has managed to rake in Rs 3.9 crore on Day 2. Trade analysts Ramesh Bala took to Twitter to share the details about the box collection of the film.

Bala tweeted that Maharshi's Krishna district second-day share was Rs 73,77,033. 

In a tweet, Bala said, "#Maharshi Krishna District 2nd Day Share : 73,77,033/- #NonBB2Record on DAY2 Total Share : 2,12,88,448cr SuperStar @urstrulyMahesh Ramapage." 

As predicted, the Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde starrer witnessed approximately 67.71 percent decline in its business on Friday. As per early estimates, Maharshi has collected Rs 10.97 crore gross at the AP/TS box office on its second day, taking its total collection to Rs 44.97 crore gross.

According to a report by Hans India, Maharshi has collected a total of Rs 9.67 crore in two days in the Nizam area.
