According to Hindu religious texts, the flower of a Nallakullava (black lotus) is equal to a thousand purple flowers. Nallakulluva flowers available in all flowers are the most important used in Shiva worship. Those who offer a garland made of a thousand Nalakuluva, receive a hundred Parakramangalvaraya fame like Shiva and get a chance to live in Kailasam. Even the devotees who worship God with these flowers, or other flowers, receive the fruit according to that flower.

Pogra flower is the passion of Lord Shiva. When someone worships Lord Shiva with a pogda flower, he gets the fruits equal to the donation of a thousand cows. When Pogda flowers worshiped God for a period of months, they get all the heaven (heaven) pleasures (pleasures) in their lives. When the lord is worshiped with pogda flower for two months, it gives results as he performed the yajna. When God is worshiped with Pogra flower for three months, it gives him Brahmaloka. Those who worship God with pogra flower for four months get their work done. People who worship God with pogda flower for five months get yogic accomplishment. For Rajapreeti (ruling), flowers of Era Tamara (Red Lotus) should be offered. Nagakesar and Kesari flowers should be offered to fulfill all your desires. To achieve Mantrasiddhi, one should offer Ganeru (oleander), Ashoka, Udugu tailgit flowers. One must offer red roses to achieve achievement. To get saubhajyam (prosperity), you should offer danti cotton flowers. To give blessings to children, you should offer Malle flower (Mogra). To get good health, flowers of Darbha should be offered.
