According to Hindu religious texts, the flower of a Nallakullava (black lotus) is equal to a thousand purple flowers. Those who offer a garland made of a thousand Nalakuluva, receive a hundred Parakramangalvaraya fame like Shiva and get a chance to live in Kailasam. When the lord is worshiped with pogda flower for two months, it gives results as he performed the yajna. When God is worshiped with Pogra flower for three months, it gives him Brahmaloka.
