London: Former team Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni set a new record in the match played against Australia in the World Cup on Sunday. Dhoni did not only show his batting style in this match, but also got involved in the list of great players. Dhoni has equalled a record, the record that has been able to reach only two Indian players so far.

According to information, in the World Cup 2019, India beat Australia by 36 runs in their second encounter, opener Shikhar Dhawan hit a brilliant century. Coming on the field in the match against Australia, Dhoni joined the club of India's great batsman Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid, and took a new record.

With this, in the match against Australia, Dhoni equalled the second-ranked great Rahul Dravid in terms of playing most ODI matches for the Indian side. Most of India's ODI matches have been played by Sachin Tendulkar (463).  Rahul Dravid has played 340 ODIs in the Indian side, Dhoni equalled Dravid's record against Australia and yesterday he fielded in his 340 ODI match. Dhoni will also smash this record of Rahul Dravid as he is coming into the match against New Zealand on June 13.
