According to the sources, the talented director of the film  ‘rangasthalam’ was rumoured to have his new project on set with Mahesh Babu.
It was later that the official announcement of the film was made by the makers of the movie on the social media.
This will not be the first collaboration of both of these talented people.

Earlier too in Sukumar’s movie “one nenokkadin”, Mahesh was seen in the leading role. Though the movie did not do that well as was expected. His recent movie “Bharat ane nenu”  is doing really well at the box office.
It also came into the light that this project is going to be Mahesh’s 26 projects in the amazing successful career he has held till date, therefore, the movie is temporarily titled as Mahesh 26. The movie is about a political front before Andhra Pradesh. He has also signed movies with other directors.
The new movie is a recovery for the director after a few flops, this movie's content focusses on catching everyone's eye on a commercial level and not a boring and serious film.
Mythri movie makers will be seen producing the film.
