He has also done excellent acting in many Bollywood movies and is now trying his hand at acting as well as direction. His upcoming directional movie Final: The Final Truth has made headlines. He has spoken big about Shah Rukh Khan in an interview about the promotion of the movie.
The same Mahesh Manjrekar says "bollywood's King Khan i.e. Shah Rukh Khan is not insafing with his talent. They don't seem to be doing anything new anymore. They have to bring themselves out of their box. Mahesh believes that Shah Rukh has everything that a well-to-do actor should have but he is limiting himself right now. They should try to do something different." In an interview, director Mahesh Manjrekar said that "he is an actor who has not done justice to his talent, he is Shah Rukh Khan, the problem is that he does not want to come out of his shell. He just wants to be in the confidence that this picture of mine went on, I am a lavarboy.Â
They have to come out of this shell of theirs. "Mahesh revealed that "ShahRukh is nowadays playing the role that Ranveer Singh and Ranveer Kapoor are doing so why would people see Shah Rukh Khan? People want to see Shah Rukh in those roles and say that the role was made for Shah Rukh. I myself think ShahRukh Khan should come out of the box he has made, only then will he be able to do something good. He is a great actor.
