Former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has already won multiple ICC titles for the team and now heads into the 2019 ICC World Cup with hopes of winning what could be his last trophy with the Indian team. Kuldeep Yadav, the wrist-spinner who arguably benefits the most from Dhoni's presence, admitted that MSD  has the answer to every problem he or anyone in the team ever has.

Dhoni has often been seen micromanaging Kuldeep, advising him on every little step while plotting the dismissal of a batsman. Speaking to Timesofindia.com, the Chinaman revealed how one should always go to Dhoni whenever in doubt. He said, “I would say when in doubt, reach out to Dhoni. He has a solution for every problem. Everyone looks up to him (Dhoni)."

Kuldeep further revealed that  “When I bowl, I find it difficult to set the field sometimes. I look at Mahi bhai and he understands immediately that I need his help. He comes up to me and helps me. It's not just me, he helps every bowler in the team.”

Delving further into Dhoni's understanding of the situation and a batsman's mindset, Kuldeep explained how the 2011 World Cup-winning Indian captain reads the game and devises a plan accordingly.“Mahi bhai understands a batsman’s body language quickly and then he tells us the areas where we should bowl to him. And it often works in our favour.”

Meanwhile, India faced New Zealand in the first warm-up match ahead of the start of 2019 ICC World Cup.
