The 2021 Force Gurkha SUV will be revealed next week. Force Motor has stated that the Mahindra Thar competitor would be officially unveiled on September 15. The Force Gurkha, which is essentially an off-road SUV, was first seen in its new form at the Greater Noida Auto Expo last year.

The pre-production model shown at the event hasn't altered much in the 2021 Gurkha. It receives round-shaped LED headlights with LED DRLs, a revised grille and front bumper, turn indicators positioned above the front fenders, a long snorkel for smooth water-wading, and an useful roof carrier.

The Force Gurkha is also expected to gain redesigned taillights, new wheels, and a spare wheel placed on the tailgate. A functioning roof carrier will also be one of the features. The new generation Force Gurkha's cabin will be more luxurious than its predecessor. It will most likely be available with an all-black interior. However, a lot of strong plastics are expected to be used all over to make it more dust and water-resistant for off-roading. Gurkha is also expected to get a three-spoke steering wheel and a new touchscreen infotainment system. Moulded floor mats are also likely to be installed for low NVH levels inside the vehicle.

The 2021 Gurkha might come in two body shapes: two-door and five-door. Captain seats in the second row and side-facing jump seats in the back may be added. The new Gurkha will be powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine that produces 89 horsepower and 260 Nm of peak torque. The SUV's transmission might be a 5-speed automatic.

The Mahindra Thar SUV, which was introduced on October 2 of last year, will face off against the Force Gurkha in 2021. Unless additional models, like the Maruti Suzuki Jimny, are released in India, Gurkha will have no direct competitors in this niche market. The price of the new Gurkha is likely to range between ₹10 lakh and ₹12 lakh (ex-showroom).
