Ajay Devgn Maidan may release in OTT, makers released statement

Ajay Devgn's upcoming film 'Maidan' is awaited by all. The film is a sports drama film with different reports coming up day by day for its release. Several reports have said that the makers may release the film directly on OTT in view of the corona epidemic. Let us also tell you that earlier the film Dussehra was supposed to hit the theatres in 2021 but the corona transition in the country is still there in view of which the makers had considered releasing the film on pay per view model.

The same is now being said that there is no truth in these reports. In fact, the producers of the film Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunav Sengupta have issued a statement refuting such rumours. Recently, the producers issued a statement saying, "There is no talk about the release of the film on any streaming platform. We want to tell you that at present there is no discussion on the release of the film under the Pay Per View model from any OTT platform." Furthermore, they said that "At the moment, our focus is to complete the film keeping in view the safety of all and the covid guidelines of the government. We request you to contact us for any information related to the film.''

At the same time, if we talk about this film, the film is a sports biopic based on the life of india's famous football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. The film stars Syed Abdul as Ajay Devgn himself and will feature Ajay Devgn's opposite Priyamani in the film.
