The fire broke out in a five-floor hotel in South Mumbai on Wednesday night between lockdown and corona infection. Fire Department personnel rescued 25 people trapped in the hotel. According to fire sources, all the rescued are doctors. They were staying at the Fortune Hotel near Metro Cinema. The fire spread from the first floor to the third.
This fire was of second level in Vikralata. It is being told that a huge fire broke out in Hotel Fortune located in Mumbai late on Wednesday night. The second and fourth floors of Hotel Fortune near Dhobi Talab have caught fire. As soon as the information about the fire broke out in the hotel, the vehicles of the fire brigade who reached the spot have started the work to control the fire. 5 fire engines and 4 jumbo tanks have reached the spot.

In an official statement issued by the fire brigade, about 25 resident doctors were staying in this hotel. All the doctors have been evacuated safely after the fire. 5 people were rescued by fire brigade staff using ladders and BA sets. In the official statement given by the fire brigade, the rescue work has been said to continue. The fire department says that the rescue operation is still going on. No information has been received about the damage caused by this fire in the hotel.
