Burhanupar: In a major incident, encroachers looted guns from a forest department post at Bakdi village in Nepanagar in Madhya Pradesh. According to the information received, the encroachers fled into the forest after looting 17 guns from the forest personnel.

Superintendent of Police Rahul Lodha confirmed the incident but did not give the details of the looted guns. He himself has left for the spot. The forest department called more than 700 armed forest personnel from several districts of the state to Nepanagar yesterday to drive out the encroachers.
