Sesame seeds are known as the seeds of immortality because, according to religious doctrine, they were blessed by Lord Yama, the God of Death. Jaggery and Sesame are considered as sacred because it is a component of the divine. Til ke laddo to gajak to til ki chikki also prepared on the special occasion. While sesame and Jaggery Ladoo are very common to make on the auspicious occasion. Here is an interesting recipe of Chocalate and sesame. So if you are looking to do some experiment this Makar Sankranti then these laddoos are probably best for you.
Ingredients
250 gm dark chocolate
Sesame seeds, 1 cup
Coconut, 1/4 cup
Step By Step Recipe
Cut the Dark Compound Chocolate Base into medium size pieces.
Boil two cups of water in a sauce pan.
The pieces of Dark Compound Chocolate should be added to a medium-sized stainless steel container.
Place the sauce Pan in the gas. Remove the vessel from the sauce pan once the chocolate base has completely melted.
Keep it aside for four to five minutes to cool down the melted chocolate.
After that, stir in 1/4 cup of sesame seeds and desiccated coconut.
Make small-sized Ladoos from the mixture. On a plate, scatter the remaining sesame seeds. Over the sesame seeds, roll the laddus. The sweetness of chocolate is enough for your chocolate ladoo. However if you eat sugar more than you can add sugar according to your taste.
