Material for making mathri-
Fine Wheat Flour – 4 cups
Pure Ghee/ Desi Ghee, Melted (Desi Ghee) – 1 cup
Thymol /Carom Seed – 1 tsp
Kasuri Maithi / Fenugreek leaf – 2 tsp
Baking Soda Powder – 1 pinch
Refined oil (cooking oil) – for frying of whey

Method of making mathri - For this, first of all mix the maida, ghee, thyme, kasuri fenugreek and baking powder well in a large pot. During this time, keep in mind that take this mixture in your hand and check that it starts to become like a laddoo. Then know that the wax is fine or else add a little more melted ghee to the flour and mix again. Now after this, add water or milk slowly to this mixture and knead the tight dough with its help. Now cover the dough for 10 minutes and set aside to set. After this, make small loaves out of the kneaded dough to make mathri from the flour, and take a loave and give it the shape of a mathri. You can also make the loaves as per the convenience. Now adopt the baileyed monasteries with the help of a knife, in the same way prepare all the monasteries by belizing and adopting them. Now heat the cooking oil in a pan and bake the mathri in hot cooking oil or ghee. As soon as the mathris are golden brown in color, remove it and eat it when you feel like it.
