Ingredients for making almond katli-
250 g almonds
One cup of milk
One cup of sugar
2 pinch saffron
One teaspoon ghee

Method of making almond katli - First of all, put water in the pot and heat it on the gas. Then turn off the gas after boiling in the water. Then add almonds to this water and cover the pot. Now after 5 minutes, open it from the pot, put almonds in cold water and peel them. After this, add hot water and soak the peeled almonds for an hour. Now when the almonds are swollen, remove them from the water. Then add milk and almonds to the mixie and grind finely. After this, add ghee to the pan and heat it on the gas. Add almond paste, saffron and sugar and cook on a medium flame. Now after this, keep running the paste evenly and cook it until the paste becomes like a soft-kneaded dough. Turn off the gas now. After this, cool the paste and grease it by applying ghee in the tray. After this, put almond paste in the ghee tray and spread it thinly. Then cut the paste into square or diamond shape. Now take the almond barfi ready.
