1. Rinse the moong dal and soak it in water for 3 hours.
2. Cook the soaked dal in a pressure cooker with water and a pinch of salt.

4. Heat ghee in a pan and add semolina. Roast until it turns light golden.
5. Mash the cooked dal and mix it with the roasted semolina.
6. Add the sugar syrup, milk, cardamom powder, and chopped dry fruits. Mix well.
7. Cook the mixture on low heat for 10-15 minutes or until it thickens.
8. Add saffron and cook for a few more minutes.
9. Serve hot, garnished with chopped dry fruits and a sprinkle of cardamom powder.
