Dry Fruit Mawa sweet is made primarily on the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Ingredients for Dry Fruit Mawa Sweet
Sugar Powder - 2.75 Cups (400g)
Mawa - 2.25 Cups (500gm)
Makhana - 1.5 cups (25 gms)
Melon seeds - 1 cup
Dried coconut - 1.5 cups (grated 100 grams)
Almond - ½ cup (75 g)
Gum - ¼ cup (50 grams)
Ghee - ½ cup (100 gms)
How to make Dry Fruit Mawa Sweet
Put the pan on the gas and put the melon seeds in the pan and fry it, stirring it till it gets blossomed. Once it starts to smell. The seeds have to roast them on a light flame. (It takes about 2 minutes to roast the seeds). When the seeds are fry, take them out in the plate
Now add the grated coconut in the pan and stir it continuously until the light colour changes and compress on the medium flame until it becomes dry. In 1.5 minutes, fry the coconut, take it out in the plate.
For frying the gum, heat the ghee by adding ghee to the pan. Fry ghee on a low-medium flame and along with the gum.
Add remaining almonds to the remaining ghee and fry it till continuous golden brown. After Almonds fry in 2 minutes, take them out in the plate.
Now put the Mawa in the ghee and make it nice golden brown by stirring a little. The Makhana takes 3 minutes to get fried. Take the fried makhanas in the plate. Dried fruits are all fry ready.
Take out the grated gum. Now put the almond in a mixer and prepare it in the fine paste and take it out in the plate.
Now put the pan on the gas and put mawa in it, stirring constantly on the medium flame and fry it until the light color changes. Mawa is ready in about 3 minutes.
Now mix this with powdered sugar and mix it. After mixing mawa and sugar well, cook it for 2-3 minutes, after which add dry fruit and mix it well.
Cook the mixture on a low flame continuously for 4-5 minutes until the concentration tightens. To check the mixture, take a little of this mixture into the bowl and if it is frozen after being light, then our mix is ready.
Now take a plate to grease it with ghee and mix it in this plate and spread it and keep it to freeze. After 15-20 minutes the mixture freezes and now cut it into pieces. You can make its pieces smaller or larger as you like.
Dry fruit mawa sweet is ready to eat and can be used for 10-12 days by keeping in the fridge.
