Ingredients:
One and a half cup semolina
One and a half cup curd
Two teaspoons oil
Two boiled potatoes
One finely chopped onion,
Finely chopped beans
Capsicum
Green chillies
Green peas
Minced ginger
Turmeric powder
Coriander powder
Red Chilli powder
1 teaspoon cumin
Mango powder
Salt as per taste.
Recipe:
To make stuffed idli, whisk and mix finely granulated semolina and curd. Add 1 teaspoon salt in it. Cover it for half an hour.
After that, heat oil by adding oil to the pan to make masala. Sprinkle cumin seeds in it and then add onion, grated ginger, green chilli. Fry the onions till they turn golden. After this add finely chopped beans, capsicum, green peas etc. and fry it a bit. Mix all the dry spices and also add turmeric, chilli and coriander powder.
Now fry boiled potatoes. Mix mango powder and mix it well. Add a little water to the idli batter and whisk it. Keep in mind that the batter should be thick. Make a small Tikki with idli mould by taking potato mixture in hand. Grease the idli mould with a little oil and add batter to it. Then after placing the potato Tikkis in the batter, put idli batter on top of it. Now cook this idli in steam and your stuffed idli is ready.
