Married women fast during Hariyali Teej in hopes of extending their husbands' lives and making them happy. Women properly worship Mother Gauri and Lord Shiva on this day. This fast also involves making many different kinds of delicious food.

According to the Hindu calendar, Hariyali Teej is observed on the third day of the Shukla Paksha of the month of Shravan. This year's festival will take place on August 19. Married women fast during Hariyali Teej in hopes of extending their husbands' lives and making them happy. Women dress up and properly worship Mother Gauri and Lord Shiva on this day. This fast also involves making many different kinds of delicious food.

1. Ghevar

Material

Flour, milk, sugar, ghee, and dry fruits

To make it, first sift the flour, then remove it to a bowl and stir in the ghee. This mixture should be well whisked. Add the milk now, then gradually add the water while whisking well. Make sure there are no lumps in this solution by thoroughly whisking it. Now preheat a pan and add ghee. then use the flour mixture to make delicious ghevar.

2. Malpua

1 cup refined flour, 2 tbsp khoya, 1 tsp ground green cardamom, 2 tbsp chopped pistachios, saffron as needed, 1 tbsp. semolina, water as needed, 1 cup refined oil, 1 teaspoon rabri, and half a cup sugar syrup

In a bowl, combine khoya, maida, and semolina. After that, mix well before adding cardamom powder. It can then be prepared by adding water. Remember that this mixture shouldn't be excessively thick or thin. To this mixture, add cardamom and saffron.

Now, put a low flame on a pan of oil. Pour the mixture into a ladle once the oil is hot and distribute it evenly. Maintain a low flame while cooking the malpua until it is golden brown on both sides.

The Malpua should now be placed in the syrup and left for 10 minutes. Serve it with pistachios and rabri as garnishes.

3. Kheer

Material

1/2 cup sugar, 1 tbsp dry fruits, water as required, half cup rice, 1 liter milk

Cardamom should first be placed in a grinder and ground into a fine powder.

The rice should be thoroughly washed and soaked in water for 30 minutes. Drain the excess water after 30 minutes, and then use a grinder to coarsely grind the rice.

After that, add milk to a deep-bottomed container and maintain a low flame. For two to three minutes, let it continue to boil. When the milk begins to boil, stir in the rice that has been coarsely ground. Now maintain a medium flame while continuing to stir the milk every 1-2 minutes.

On a cutting board, arrange the dry fruits and finely chop them. When the rice is done cooking, add the milk and stir constantly. Well, combine all the ingredients.
 
Turn off the gas when the kheer has thickened. Put sugar in the pan and cover it now.
