The Film Federation of India has announced yesterday that the Malayalam film 'Jallikattu' will be India's official entry in the Best International Feature Film category of the 93rd Academy Awards. As soon as this announcement was made, the filmmakers and the actors associated with it have started receiving wishes. Kangana's name is also included in this list. Though she congratulated the film but at the same time, she also takes dig at Bollywood.

The film can be seen on Amazon Prime Video at this time. Jallikattu is directed by Lijo Jose Pelisserie and O Thomas Panicker is its producer.
The story of this film is by S. Harish and R. Jayakumar, which is based on S. Harish's short story Maoist. Antony Varghese, Chamban Vinod Jose and Sabumon Ebdusamad appear in important roles in this film. The music of this film is given by Prashant Pillai and cinematography by Girish Gangadharan. The film premiered on September 6 at the Toronto International Film Festival.
